I really like him, but I can't tell if he likes me.?

Sometimes he acts like he likes me, but most of the time he doesn't seem to interested. His friends told me that if I asked him to Prom, he would say yes, but I'm afraid he'll say no.

Unless his friends are complete jerks, they're NOT just setting you up. They know what they're talking about. What's the worst thing that could happen if you asked him to the prom??? More than likely, he likes you!!! Give it a shot!!! You'll do great!!!
