Your first tattoo should be something near and dear to you. As far as placement, Anywhere you are comfortable having it. Good luck.

You have to think long and hard about this. You are not ready at this point. Remember, this is permanent.
Go to tattoo websites, look around. Get something you want to have for the rest of your life. Don't get something because its a fad. Fads fade.
And finally, for the love of God, DO NOT get a boyfriends name tattooed on you. That was the one thing every tattoo artist agreed on. It's never a good idea.

you should get your tattoo where you feel most comfortable. it is your tattoo there for you should decide what it is and where it will go. My first tattoo was of value and memorance of my brother (just an opinion) because it will always be there

i would suggest you getting a small one somewhere that you can cover up if you decide you dont like it. and you dont know how painful it is going to be. you wont have to take the pain as long with a small one as you would if you got a big tattoo.

Where ever you want it to be.
Most people get it on their lower back or arm.
Ankles and neck hurt the most.
Personally, I want my first tattoo on my rib or on my back.
As for what to get, get something original that represents you and things you like.
Don't get something stupid that'll you'll regret.

Well, as a new Tatoo owner myself I figured I'd jump on this one. If you are female, Please fight the urge to be tramp stamped. Ugh. 1-2 inches below and 3 inches to the right of the navel looks great!

Hi there , good question the first place to start is if you have a boyfriend?if you do then you then you could have his name printed where everyone can see like up your arm or if you are really fashionable and you where small tummy tops then you could have it on your back?
