You could try flirting with him and see what the response is. Maybe you could it the old fashoned way; ask him.

Careful. First and foremost don't get your hopes up. Old flames move on and some have a way of twisting the breakup details in hindsight. The simplest thing to do is to call them up (fingers crossed that they haven't changed their number) and say 'something reminded me of you today so I decided to give u a call and see how u were doing. It's been a while I know.' Make small talk, try to figure out if he's still single and has the same interests ('Do you still go that place we used to go to?') Basically just check in with him.

After you chat with him for a bit give him permission to call and ask if he'd like to chat again or more often. Listen for the tone of voice, not just the answer. If he's a little 'iffy' about it beware. He might be completely over you and just doesn't want to be mean.

Give him a week or so to call you and if he hasn't and you're still wondering whats up, call him back.

Keep in mind that he probably thinks you're bored and lonely and just calling him out of desperation, so he may be waiting to see if you'll ever call again.

Being pushy would be demanding that he meet you or calling obsessively. Just contact him, give him some space, check back in with him and pay attention to his mood.

Good Luck!

The best way is by just coming out and asking. You can't go by if he's flirting with you or things like that because some people are just naturely flirty. Even if he's not one that is, yall have a past together and that maybe the way he's use to reacting around you. I have an ex that we are still close friends and he's constantly flirting and doing things that make others think he does but he doesnt. That is just the way he's use to acting around me. So you are better off just asking.

Do you have mutual friends? Perhaps you could talk to them.
Also, how does he react when he sees you? Indifferent? Genuinely interested?
A persons body language can reveal a lot about them. There are even books at the library on body language.
Also, you may have to face the fact that he is no longer interested. In this case, do not continue to punish yourself! Move on. Maybe there is an even better relationship in your future.

The best way to do that would be to just observe and not say anything. Watch their actions around you and others and all. Then maybe try to flirt ever so slightly. Don't be too obvious. Good luck with that.

if he single flirt with him and if he flirts back then you have a chance but if he seems to distance himself then he not interested . Good luck and the way he acts around you should tell you if he is or not.

My suggestion is just go with the flow and take things very slow. Just don't be impatient!
