Actually, I know people who have gone through this. It's not as dire as you might think. Since the people who accepted Christ really meant it, did everything they could to know God, and prayed for the others God honored them. I've seen whole families change their minds. I've also seen people repair marriages and sibling relationships because of changes in behavior bought about by knowing God.
God doesn't want anyone to be lost to Him.

God's laws are written on each person's heart---the conscience. If a person follows the laws of the conscience, knowing right from wrong, I don't believe they'll go to hell and I think the Bible supports this view. It's those that "see" and turn away that are lost.
Christianity is so much more than 'heaven' or 'hell'. It's about how to have a meaningful, fulfilling, loving life, which for a lot of people can be very difficult.
The Bible says the greatest thing is 'love' and if you love your husband and family you are blessed.

Hello, I understand what you're saying... but would it help anything if you were burning in hell too? To be saved or not is a personal decision that each one of us must struggle with & make. I have relatives that died & I don't know where they went nor can I judge were they went. The devil will use any trick he can to keep you from God & all the blessings that God wants to give you . Surrender your heart to God & just see if you feel the same way about being lost with the lost... bye , hope you have a blessed day!

An individual not being able to deal with an emotionally difficult and heart-rending situation has no bearing on the actual state of affairs of the universe (the truth). It is not a particularly valid reason to not be a Christian.

Being a true Christian means to impart understanding and love.
Even in the Bible the story of the Good Samaritan shows to our enemies we need care. If we can not love those in our family for their beliefs, how can we truly love ourselves? Just because someone is on a different path than ours, does not necessarily mean they are lost, it means they are on a different path. One , perhaps by life experiences and choice, or maybe even one God knows they shall by consequence may become stronger and closer to God than you.. Love the differences in all. My grandmother taught me as a child, that what one does not understand they fear, and what they fear they try to destroy. i didn't then understand , but now do.. Just as too if you are in a room full of people in a class giving an answer to a question and the teacher asks if you want to stand by your answer, when everyone else says your wrong, and the teacher confirms, you are the only one right.....it still is mighty uncomfortable..
Remember God judges us all by the intent of our hearts, our actions and the knowledge which we lived our lives.. he knows us best over all others..
Love your family even if they don't believe.. Pray for them, and live your life full. Be Yea first an example... comes to mind..
You could be the instrument to open their hearts by your example and change in true Christ like love. Acceptance.
you don't KNOW they will go to hell.... none of us KNOW till the final judgment.. it is the journey of life not one deed, or one act which will praise or condemn us necessarily..
faith is that belief in that which we can not see or feel. But, know by the spirit of God in.
courage is to trust in that faith, and acting upon it is our testimony of it.
Christ did not force obedience, he taught the laws of obedience, that we would then govern ourselves..
Greater love is shown in choice , than in fear.. To "fear" God, means to honor him, revere him. He is a God of love.
I have had a near death experience.. and , i know that what seems so confusing here is so clear on the other side.. We are to search here, be diligent here. Seek to do good, and humble ourselves .
I pray you find peace in what ever your journey of life brings. good luck.

you sound like, type like, a martyr. That's so very sweet, you're exactly what the Christians and Muslims want. You sure you won't reconsider?

That's one of the reasons I find it detestable too -- the self-congratulatory attitude.
"I believe in something unprovable and illogical so it's harps, angels and doughnuts for eternity for me, but fiery pits and raw sewage for you."
No, thank you.
