A keystroke is simply typing. Everytime you hit a key such a letter or number, that's called a keystroke and bigbrother monitors everything you type. Be careful not to type in any personal data that you don't want anyone else to see because it records everything.

Keystroke- any keypress made on the keyboard. When you press keys on the keyboard, the letters will register as keystokes. This can also be called striking the keys.

I would remove this "iambigbrother" thing from your computer. Judging from its name, it is probably a keylogger virus or something similar to that(a keylogger something that tracks your keystrokes.)

A keystroke is simply pushing a button on the keyboard. Sometimes, it's specific to letters/numbers/symbols (i.e., not just pushing the Ctrl or Shift keys, which are "function" keys along with the "F" keys).

essentially keystroke recording is spyware,
you can install this on someones computer and record what they type passwords, websties, etc.
sometimes it can be illegal so dont spy on anyone other than in your family but even that is not a good idea. most of the time teachers and administrators at school use this to make sure that there students arent logging on to websites, bad pics, and doing not school related stuff

I keystroke is pressing the key (any key whatsoever) on the keyboard. How was this used in the sentence?

A keystroke is when you punch the keys for god's sake.
