yes, of course!! that happened with me and my ex. at first we talked all the time, b/c we were getting to know each other, but then we started running out of things to say after a while and the relationship got boring and eventually ended after a while. it happens. maybe you shouldn't talk as long then. just say what you need to say, then get off the phone. you can call and sometimes say "i just wanted to hi, cuz i was thinking about you"....girls LOVE that!! good luck :)

Yea, I mean at first it's exciting and you have a bunch to talk about but after awhile you run out of things to say, especially if you're together all the time. It's perfectly natural, just don't talk on the phone as often, as long as you have a great time together, you don't need to talk on the phone, try another alrenative like text or chat!

There are a number of things you need to consider before panicking: 1) Do you see her in person for extended periods of time before you call? You may have talked about a lot during that time, and have simply run out of things to say. 2) Are you a telephone person? Some people just can't talk on the phone.
Don't pressure yourself to always have something to say, silence is completely natural at times. If anything, it will show that you are a good listener.

Of course it's OK. I sometimes run out of things to say with my boyfriend. Sometimes it can become awkward on the phone and it is harder to talk when you can't see how the other person reacts. In time, talking on the phone will become more natural and you won't have this problem any more. I hope it's all OK and don't worry about it. If your girlfriend is really into you then she won't really notice :D xxxx

That probably just means that you aren't much of a phone person. After spending so much time in person then I think it would be kind of difficult to chat on the phone for a long time. That is normal.

It is perfectly natural to run out of things to say!!!! Now if its an uncomfortable silence when you feel weird for not talking, then its a slight problem. My husband would be the one telling well say something, talk already, so on so forth. A great partner is one where you can sit in silence and NOT have to talk

MAYBE IT'S JUST THAT YOU RUN OUT OF THINGS TO SAY AND YOU STAY ON THE PHONE JUST TO SORT OF BE WITH HER.......IF THAT S THE CASE WHY DON'T' YOU TRY SOME THING READING A BOOK TOGETHER OVER THE PHONE OR TRY TO WRITE HER A LETTER BEFORE YOU TALK TO HER ON THE PHONE AND CALL HER TO READ IT TO HER , JUST THE FACT THAT YOU TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE THE LETTER WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT.......IF THAT DOESN'T WORK TRY NOT TALKING ON THE PHONE SO LONG MAKE THE CONVERSATIONS SHORT AND SWEET NOTHING GROG WITH THAT.....GOOD LUCK

Dang how long are you talkin to her! I use to stay on the phone with my ex for hours and sometimes we'd fall asleep on the phone! but if i was you i'd cut down on the long convos on the phone so you guys have somthing to talk about when you guys see each other! But im about 80 percent sure that you just recently got with her not to long ago, when you guys pass that year marker or even the 6 month marker, it will stop on its own!

Yep.
Maybe make a little list that you keep by the phone. Or everytime you think of something you want to say to her when she's not around, add it to the list.

There's nothing wrong with being quiet together sometimes. Better to be with someone who's quiet sometimes, and reflective, rather than someone whose inane prattle goes on endlessly.
Good luck.
