ask first. and if the rumors are true, get mad and give him teh cold shoulder. if that doesn't work, then he's not a good guy, and ditch him.

I could barely understand your question since it's not in regular English, but I think you are saying that a guy is telling everyone you two are a couple but he never clarified it with you.
Well, if you are "going out" then obviously you should talk with him or there really is no relationship. What would be the point of "going out" if you didn't ask him.

Tell him that you heard a rumor. Ask him where it could possibly come from. Listen to his response.
