Well that's not actually a coma (you'd be out cold and not typing) That's some pretty serious fatigue though, more than I've heard from Paxil before. First, make sure you are not taking anything that is exacerbating the fatigue (like Tylenol PM or NyQuil) and that you are not drinking any alcohol. If it's this bad, call your doctor up or maybe the assistance line on you insurance card if you have one.

first off, you are not in a drug induced coma. if you were in a coma, you would be out cold, not able to even talk let alone type on the computer. Second if you want to stay awake do some excersises to get the heart pumping and the blood flowing. this will stimulate your whole body jsut long enpugh for you to go to starbucks and get a coffee. and if paxil is that strong on you , you need to see your doctor about getting something with less dosage and less of a kick for you to have if it is having this kind of an effect on you.

No, you're not in a coma drug-induced or otherwise. Although Paxil is generally taken in the morning, one of the common adverse effects is somnolence - what you are experiencing. Speak to your prescriber about dosing at bedtime. Be warned though that another common adverse effect is insomnia. However, given the effect you're currently having, this will probably not be an effect you will see.
The person above me most likely had the common adverse effect of nausea. Not everyone experiences adverse effects, the same adverse effects or all adverse effects whether common, less common or life-threatening.

Take the Paxil at night or in the early evening before bed. See your dr. You may need to change medications.
