Why are Jews so white skinned? Is there a point in history where Jews went from dark skin to white skin? Any reason for this?

Who said Jesus was dark skinned? He was a Mediterranean Jew. And probably looked no different than other Mediterranean Jews.

Jews were probably originally Mediterranean. During the past 2000, they were exiled to pretty much everywhere. If a group of people moves to a certain climate, their skin color will change according to the climate (at least, this was true before the invention of sunscreen and Vitamin D pills) . Much of today's world Jewry comes from Europe, so we are light-skinned. There are also black Jews, Chinese Jews, Hispanic Jews, Indian Jews, and everything in between.

First of all Jesus is a complete fake Jew and has nothing to do with real Judiasim. Second most Jews come from European countries where its Caucasian. There are some Jews that come from Ethiopoa and the like who are black.

Jesus was middle eastern, thats in the bible! Jewish isn't a race and some jews are dark skinned, like those who still live in Israel. Some Jews moved to Europe or were conquered and brought to europe by the Romans, and try not to generalize!

Jews are not currently Caucasian. There are Jews of virtually every ethnicity in the world today.
In response to Bluto, Israelis are not dark-skinned. There are Israelis of Russian descent and Ethiopian descent and everything in between as far as skin tone goes. Not all Israelis are Jewish, either. There are significant populations of Christians, Muslims, and Druze living in Israel, as well.

All we really now about Jesus' physical appearance was that He was anything that really stood out. So I would think Jesus was probably your typical Jew you know dark hair and dark eyes with tanner skin...probably pretty rugged looking...He is still tight though

I think people in general were darker skinned during that time period. Lighter skinned people would have a hard time surviving under the conditions that they lived in. The environment itself would rough up and darken the skin.

that's not nor EVER has been Mormon doctrine that pores and skin shade has something to do with a guy or woman's religious nature. only as Christians do no longer think of what language you talk has something to do with it the two(remember Babel and human beings being cursed by employing changing their languages) there have been MANY southern Christians, till now and after slavery, that theory-approximately blacks as subhuman/animals no longer even human beings. Why no longer ask them those questions? there are various Christian church homes that believed blacks have been the descendants of Cain (this grow to be on no account Mormon doctrine) why no longer ask them those questions. what share southern christians taught christianity to its slaves using fact the Bible says "slaves obey thy masters" Why no longer ask them approximately this? Obviously a high proportion of Jew's are from west European ancestry.
