what do you think is the best looking plane out there? i would have to say the airbus 340-500/600 series. they look so nice cause of the 4 engines and the sleek long body.

I'd have to say the 767 is a beautiful piece of macinery. I may be a little partial because I work in the 767 plant... After that, I'd have to go with the 747 just because of the intimidation factor your feel while standing under it.
I may have to change my answer around August to the 787 Dreamliner when the first one rolls out. ;-)

Gotta go with the Boeing 747-400ER, 777, and 737-400(in Southwest Airlines colors especially for the 737 which Southwest uses !)
Canadair RegionalJet, cool little commuter jet!
Airbus A300, A319, A330, and A340 series
As far as special paintjobs...gotta mention Qantas' "Wunala Dreaming"and ANA "Pokemon" 747-400's
Hey it's not pretty, but it's an achievement..the Airbus A380.

The 757-300 is the best then the A 340-600 and then the 777-300. I like them because of their long thin fuselages.
Also I gotta love the classic L-1011 Tri Star!

Boeing 757-200. Long fuselage, tall landing gear and all that power (especially the Roll-Royce RB-211 powered ones.) I've never seen a 757 not want to get up off the ground, even with a full load. Plus, the Rolls engines have a very distinct sound to them. Followed closely by the Boeing 717, the last form of the great Douglas DC-9.

I would have to go with the Boeing 747-400ER but thats followed closely by the Saab 340 in the new silver NWA livery... it just makes the engines pop out so nicely... still dont like it on the inside, but the outside is nice.... Worst airplane is without a doubt, the A380... absouluty hate it...

I don't know if they are still around, but I flew on a BAe 146 once. A small ( 80 pass) high wing 4 engine jet. It really had some power and good looks.

I would have to say any of the Tri-Jets (L-1011, MD-11, DC-10) are my favs. The power they had/have (some MD-11's & DC-10's still flying). That and just the beauty of them.

On this site this gentleman does fantasy liveries and present liveries on planes that they may or may not have had. Nice site. He does these by hand and if you want to see a livery on a specific plane ask him he may just do it.
