Ok so heres the deal, Ive known this girl my whole life, shes a friend of a family friend. I liked her for a long time, shes beautiful. I asked her out and she says yes... everything's cool. I asked her everyweekend if she would want to do something and now she says that she is busy with work and babysitting and its the truth. Now i tell her I like her alot and think that we should see each other more often, and get to know each other better. She thinks of me as a friend and doesnt feel the same way about me as I do about her. She says since the fact that we known each other for so long that she l thinks of me as a friend. I like this girl and cant let her go. Her father and family friends this is the right relationship, because they think its match made in heaven, I think so too, is there any way to get this gril to consider me a boyfriend??

arrrh!! son, why did you tell her how you feel? that's a death wish if you want to go further in a relationship. you can't make someone to like you in a different light. just ignore her for a while. no more calling. this will hurt a bit, but you have to let time to calm things down. keep ignore her until she approach you. then don't show any interest in her. this process will take time.

because everybody is telling her that this is for her + that you two are a match made in heaven, she is probably feeling a little forced, which will push her away + make her not want to be a part of the relationship. try giving her time, but if she doesen't come around, you'll have to move on. i'm sorry, but this is the truth. you could also try telling some of the people that have been telling her to go out with you + that it's the right thing to just tone it down a little, because this could freak her out a little. [note: only talk to her family members about toning it down a little if you KNOW THEM WELL ENOUGH + are COMPLETELY comfortable doing this, if you aren't, then DON'T do this.]
i wish you luck + hope everything works out !

the answer, the cold hard truth, is no, there's no way to get her to like you for more than a friend. If the feelings arent there for her by now, they'll never be. Unfortunatly the only thing I can say is, there are PLENTY of girls out there, eventually, you'll find the one for you. Dont give up, and good luck!

wow, i thought i was alone. She obviously doesn't treat you with the respect that you want or deserve (as a bf) i had the same prob. i sat her down and talked to her. she gave me this super lame made up excuse. so i dumped her. maybe you should kiss her, ya know something that just friends wouldn't do. DO NOT have sex thou that would be WAY too far.
