Theres this girl that I work with who I like. I am really shy with girls and I haven't talked to her or anything yet. I want to get to know her but I feel to afraid to even talk to her. I've noticed that she is kinda quiet herself and I've been told that she's really nice but I keep getting this feeling that she doesn't like me even though she doesn't know me.
How can I overcome my fear?? Whats the best way to get to know her??

Well you've already been told that she's really nice, and she's quiet. If this is true, she won't be rude about it.Take a chance!
If she rejects you, she will do it in a nice way and you'd feel a little bad but you'll get on with life.At least, you know that nothing could be there.Don't let opportunities open, find out what she thinks!You can always sort of, talk to her about anything.Then becomes acquaintances, then friends.When you feel she trusts you, you can ask her out.Good luck man!

oh boy. Case of boy likes girl, girl likes boy but both are too shy and never meet.
How about the direct approach? Go say hi or bring some cookies (something!) to the office and then pass by saying oh you know, someone brought cookies to the office.
I can't imagine you being so horrid that no one likes you, unless you're an obnoxious jerk - but somehow I don't think so. You sound like a gentle, quiet guy. One of the nice guys that lots of women (for god knows why) hate. TRUST ME, though all women of value will like you. :) read that again, of value. Not trash. Trash only likes trash and never value what's good in life.

Good question....how about try finding out what she likes. Then maybe you could one day talk about something you know she'd be interested in. That would help start a conversation. Try to find out what she likes, where she goes after work, if she's looking for someone right now, etc. A girl likes a guy who finds out about her instead of just being interested. Good luck!

talk with her... if you have only heard she's quiet, then you don't know her either. SO YOU DON"T KNOW IF YOU EVEN REALLY LIKE HER.
But talk with her, take your time, mabye later ask her on a date. Once you talk to her it will get easy. Don't worry about her liking you. A girl likes a guy more if they go after them... then guys who don't go after them. So she may not like you yet... you might still be that creepy guy who does talk yet.

just try talking to her... one of three things will happen... you will find out she doesn't like you... or you will find out that you really don't like her, or you will both like each other. In any case it is better that spending the rest of your life wondering "WHAT IF I WOULD HAVE ASKED THAT GIRL OUT???... WHAT WOULD MY LIFE BE LIKE NOW" Don't get to be my age in life and have so many WHAT IF's stacked up in the back of your head.

You should never feel negative about yourself,be confident and tell her your feelings.
I am sure she won't hurt you,as you seem to be very good by HEART!!!
You should be ready to hear NO(chances are only 1%),but at least go and tell or you will regret and blame yourself for whole of your life.

Women are very delicate creatures darlin! As for getting over your fear, you just have to jump in head first...not one foot at a time. You just have to get over it!
Ask her is she wants to go catch a movie or go bowling or something. Nothing romantic, just something to get to know her and for her to get to know you! Take things slow!
