yeh i think u can. i have had a crush on my best guy friend for a while and whats really hard is that hes going out with and is totally in love with my other best (girl) friend. i know hes liked me for while too but he has stopped showing it with the arrival of his gf which at first made me feel really alone. cos we felt we had a strong connection being each others first partners. after a while now we are still really good friends and i think u can push ur feelings aside. at first it may be hard to accept only friendship if u want more but it can work. good luck x

That is hard. I completely understand it thou. Cause I am crushing on this guy, that I know we will never be a couple, so I am backing off a little, and just trying to be friends, but it is really hard. Cause I really like him.

Uh...if you can't be friends with them then there's no chance of the two of you getting married...Love is built on friendship...sharing things...just like you do with your friends but deeper...
So yes...in fact at this very moment I'm very good friends with the person I like...that's how it started...I was friends with them first and then I grew to want to be around them all the time...and then it grew into caring about them...and loving them...worrying about them, being there when things went bad...
If a love isn't about friendship...then it's not about love at all...it's about lust.

Only if you are mature enough to handle it. If it is mutual you need to sit down and decide whether or not you want to take it to the next level. Sometimes all you end up doing is losing your friend.

I think u can be friends with a hot guy, unless they are TOTALLY hot!! (in which case, jump 'em) However i think that its cool to be friends with a slightly hot guy and be bit flirty on the side (just to make you both feel good)

Its better to be friends with them then nothing at all but you should let them know how you feel, you never know they might like you back. Its better then to bottle it all up!

you can but it can be extremely difficult. if you are with someone aswell its even harder trust me! i have been with my fella for nearly 3 years now, always fancied our friend n let that get the better of me, i ended up finishin with my fella and tryin to make somethin of me n my 'friend', it ended soon after it started and a drunken night of passion. decided we couldn't do it, but are still VERY good friends now!!
