To be a first world country, we need to improve social parameters - Access to education, health, drinking water, social security.

For this to happen we must:

1. Promote Balanced growth. If our villages can become growth centers, we can become a first world country
2. Promote agro-based industries in a big way.
3. Our justice delivery mechanism must be quick and efficient 4. Government machinery must be reformed with more accountability and performance clauses
5. Encourage entrepreunership - we need more small companies to form the backbone of our economy
6. Increase investments in education, health, access to clean drinking water and sanitation.
7. Strive for energy security

The most important thing for any country to modernize is to (mostly) eliminate corruption. As long as government decisions can be affected by money and influence you can never get ahead.

Look at the differences between US and Mexico. Both were colonized during the same time period, with people of the same adventurous spirit, and both countries have huge resource wealth. But Mexico is still very backwards because of the severe corruption.

Getting rid of corruption in US was a tough battle too. You should read about Eliott Ness and the battle against the Mafia. If that "war" had not been won, then most of the big cities in US would be as screwed up as Mexico City.

One other way to help reduce corruption is to ensure police and officials are paid professional wages.

Rulers mentality has to be change.
There should be a rule where they can rule only for five years and will have to submit every end their production statistics. The rulers fight with each other asking what and how much the other leader has swindled.
If they had asked what the opposition has done to the nation every day, then it would speak about the true mentality of care for the nation and would prove that we are marching towards growth.
In the name of globalisation, the political leaders are only giving permission for foreign investments than to local business group because of the foreign exchange earnings to their own pocket not knowing it is a loss to the nation.
We should make the Indian money value go to the top, We have to come out of internal politics. We should work in unity for development without pin-pointing others mistakes.

India will become the first in the world if and only if,the government learn to take currect and strict action without any fear with minorities or majorities.

I find government never takes any strict action that is utmost for growing india.Some times it fears with minoriteis or sometime with majorities.Government lives always in the fear,to save their chair.

History tells that a country can grow only when it takes absolute action without any fear.

We indian tells that there is no cast wise difference,no religon wise differnce.We live together.Then why government give the reservation for the minorities. Government should to give the reservation to the poors The government itself makes the differnce cast wise and religion wise too.that has the really needs tio get.

Give the economical support to the poors of any cast ,any religon.Do'nt give the reservation to any one cast wise or religon wise.Then only India can actually grow.

in our india we through out more than 20 to 30 year in plitical person. we reach easy at 10 years.

u see in Govt person only think about increase salary and everything and make stick and deamad Govt. so all the work done basic of something so in effect from throu out politician

India must eliminate the cast system to become a member of what most nations consider a civilized nation.
