The truth is, parents are very selfish and want to give their children the best they can get. It's simply human nature for a parent to wish his/her child all the best.
I would decide how my child would look like. I don't want my child to be deformed in any way, so if I could control his/her physical appearance obvious I'd do it. See I'd want to do more than just that... I would give my child health if I could control that. And intelligence as well.
Man... selfish creatures.

i'd let nature take care of it. how would you ever decide what you would want a child to look like besides their coloring. not only that, but having good looks does not mean that you are guaranteed anything in life. i would much rather have a smart child than a pretty one.

Let nature decide. I agree with the above poster AND what if my child decided as a teenager that I had mad a bad choice - one MORE thing for them to blame on me!!!

That is a lovely question for me to answer at the moment, I've just had twins and they are 16 months old. They couldn't be more different if they came from two different families from two different Continent's. But they are just perfect the way they are one has got curly hair and the other none! Before I had them, I wanted them to look the same, but now I am so happy with their differences. I love the fact that each one of them have a little something of me and that is all I wanted.

Nature, Religion, and Science?
Nature is what we are.
Religion is what makes us faith.
Science is what challenges us.
So to this ?, I would do what is being practiced for lives,,, that is, have it the way it is(sex)... And let the the three things decide.....
And bare in mind that the baby will be decided by the three things above.. But the outcome will be just like you, and your mate...... WHO ELSE WOULD HE OR SHE BE LIKE ?

I would be tempted.... but then wouldn't everyone??!!We all want the best for our children and the world revolves more and more around the way we look. Securing these looks would be securing part of their future in a sense too. However, I believe nature knows best and has come up with some awesome combos so far. Who would have come up with Angelina Jolie?

I would let nature decide - I want my children to look like me and their dad, I think the process of nature determines the look of my children so they can eventually be linked to me

as long as you have your kids staying wihyou ,you must guide them on the right path GOD has put you near your child to look after him/her giving a child counsel and asking hi m question does not make you become like glue to your son it is true you must respect his opinion and space .trust your child.but don't live him on his own h needs you
