Christ told us to do our charitable acts in secret, so we would be rewarded openly by the Father.
Why don't these angelic people want future rewards? Why are they daily boasting about their humility and goodness?

Sometimes people make charitable acts public for the reason of spreading the idea. If more people see others doing positive things than maybe they can influence some positive thinking in strangers.
