Ok...I have a friend who has been with her b/f for more than a year now. Since they have met, he has, talked to women online(not just chit-chat either), signed up on dating sites using fake names, once even made arrangements to meet with one woman, but never went through with it, and quite a few other things along the same lines.
He lives with her and the most he has ever given her towards bills in one month was $300, it's normally between $100-200, more often, $100. He has also a few times, asked her to loan him money to buy large items. She hasn't yet, done that!
I know she loves him but it hurts me because I think he is using her BIG TIME.
If you agree, do you have any suggestions on how I can convince her of that, before something really bad happens??! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my whole life and I would like to see her with someone that knows how to treat a Lady!

I find the more you tell them to stay away from a user like that, you tighten the "blindfold" more. Just mention it, point things out which would explain where you are coming from, bring it to her attention. Don't be too negative. As she tries to convince you he is not that bad, she will convince herself of the same! It is clear this LOSER has no respect for her at all and found just what he wanted-someone to support him, give him what he wants while he enjoys life and acts like he is single!

MAN THIS MAKES ME MAD!!! Best of luck! So sad to see these losers take advantage of really good people!!!

Other than talking to her, I can't think of a thing. I assume that she knows about all the sneaking behind her back? Sounds like he is lacking, big time, on contributing his share!

Just try to talk to her and then be there for when she does realize he's using her! Good Luck!

The only thing that will convince her is when a big mistake happens. Love is blind.

All you can do is to be there to support her when it does happen, and you can hope that she gets a clue when disaster strikes.

happens all the time , rose colored glasses of love. Sit her down tell her once how you feel, and then leave it alone. she might listen but probably not but you will have a clear conscience that you tried to warn her.

Sometimes you can talk and explain but until they realize it then things will change. Just continue to be her friend.
