First, Acts 11 ends the restriction against eating or touching unclean animals, so it is not an issue for a Christian.
Secondly, footballs have not been made from "pig skins" since the 1920s. So I am reasonably sure that the one you have is safe to touch without gloves.

First of all listen to ws138. She's right that footballs are not made with pig skins anymore.
Second, the law that you are talking about was to keep sickness and plagues away. With time we have been given knowledge as to how to do things they could not do in that time and age to keep ourselves healthy. Granted we're still not living as long as Methusala or some of the early prophets, but we are living longer than we used to be.

God has died for are sins. That is in the "Old Testement" or "The old promise" so I am not sure if it is relevent or not. although I wouldn't worry about wearing gloves or not. not many footballs are even made of pigskin anymore, but even if the ones you play with are, I would worry.

Get a life.
Those rules were made because pigs are
a) unclean animals (lots of parasites)
b) difficult to take along in the desert.
These rules made sense in the time they were drawn up.
If you believe that not touching pigskin is the essence of your religion, I think you may need to rethink things a little.

Touching the skin os a dead pig does not make you unclean. It made a Jew of that time ceremonially unclean. That was part of a complex system of ceremonial laws that prefugured a lot of truths about Jesus Christ.

This is from the Old Law for the Jewish Nation. Christians follow the New Law. It is Christ's Law. We are not bound by the Old Testament. It was too confining and we were given a Savior who died to forgive us our sins. Read, study, and obey the New Testament. Have a great weekend.
