i believe that you need to be not only mentally attracted but physically attracted to a partner. what do you think

I think there needs to be a physical attraction. I've tried dating friends because I liked them, as people, but it never worked out because I wasn't attracted to them in a sexual way. It's unhealthy for both parties if there isn't a mutual physical attraction (mental is just a given, I think).

I think it's attracted to who a person is on the inside - then the physical usually follows.

Think about it - they say love is blind. That's because if they fall in love with the good in that person, it shines through. It's also the reason why you can look at a beautiful person and think their ugly because their mean spirited.

I totally agree. I think most people do whether or not they will admit to it or not is another thing.
