Personally I have been the proud owner of the Tempur-Pedic Classic Sleep System for a little over three years now. My mattress is still in mint condition and I weigh 170 lbs. and my husband weighs 240 lbs. I do not have a permanent indention that I roll into every night.
Tempur-Pedic mattresses are temperature sensitive and breathable. While some people do say they find the mattresses hot, many of them were hot on inner spring mattresses. The mattress itself will increase your circulation due the increased support it gives your body. Although our cover is breathable, it does create a light barrier that inhibits the complete absorption of body temperature into the TEMPUR® material.
The warranty covers up to ¾ of an inch in sagging if it occurs in the first 10 years. After 10 years the warranty is pro-rated. You can view the warranty @ www.tempurpedic.com.

If you are a menopausal woman, sleeping on a tempur-pedic bed is like sleeping in a 300 degree oven.

We considered buying one, so I did a lot of research on these. People love them the first 1-2 years. After that, the foam breaks down and owners hate them. They are very expensive for only lasting 1-2 years and the warranty does NOT cover the foam degradation.

Pro- comfortable
Con- your body will permanently dent the mattress after continued use. After a while, you will try to roll out of the indention, but you will fall back into it.

We have a Cali-King and I thought that it only sank because of the frame that we have it in but reading other peoples answers I realized that it isn't just mine.
They are very comfortable but they are expensive and they can get a little hot in the summer but we've had it for about 3 years and we still love it.

The only thing I know (turned out to be a con, since I live in the South) is that they don't breathe & make you sweat. Yuk! Who can sleep sweaty?
