This may sound stupid, but for curiostiys sake I had to ask, soda pops fizz while they are in the bottle or in your mouth, is this the case once its inside of your stomach?

The stomach acid neutralizes it so quickly that it goes through one last fizz that causes a sudden belch or gas.

Dont' know for sure but sometimes it feels like it does when I drink really cold soda too fast.

if you drink it too fast, but i think all the carbon dioxide bubbles pop before it reaches your stomach...
