Yes!
But they usually are ways of discouraging us from finding meaning.
Why are we here? Because god made us? That's an incredibly unsatisfying meaning that doesn't answer anything! What is the purpose? God's purpose? That completely skirts the issue.
Religions try to answer things but fail in every respect, so I wonder if that's where much of the inherent frustration comes from?

How about the world, is it not just a violent frustrated quest for meaning?
I know with believing in Christ, that he provides all the meaning we need and we want for nothing spiritually. (unless it is ourselves limiting ourselves)
It is the world that has always sought to separate itself from God and has ALWAYS been violent.

Quests for meaning or a provision of meaning, yes. Fusterated, perhaps but many seem happy with what they've found. Violent, some are and some aren't.

Yes! That is why they act the way they do, most of the wars on Earth are religious in nature, and they will never find meaning in their own make believe faiths.

Nope, religion is organized worship to God.
Unless you believe in God and are open to His will for your life, this question is pointless, you'll never truly understand!

No just the fundalmentalists. They can be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, etc. Each religion can have its bad apples.
