how does pancreatic cancer effect the human body?

Any cancer can affect the entire body as it can spread to other organs which is called metastasizes, once it has spread then there's not alot that can be done, and once it reaches your liver there is just a matter of weeks

Pancreatic cancer can affect the body in many ways.

1) Cause chemical imbalances.
The pancreas produces too much/too little insulin to break down body sugar.
A common symptom is blockage of the bile duct. Bile is used to break out fats in food.
Pancreatric cance roften spreads to the liver disrupting liver enyzme processing.
2) Metastasis (spread of cancer) can cause intestinal blockage.
3) Tumor can press on other organs causing pain and/or lack of appetite.
4) Metastasis to other organs may effect performance of other organs.
