Sometimes I start feeling sick, so I'll take my coat off, then my shoes and socks off and sometimes I even have to go outside or go stick my head in the freezer. It's not like 100 degrees or anything. It's just that I'll feel hot and sick, and being cold makes me feel better. Is something wrong with me?

It's usually my stomach or my head that feels sick.

I don't think you have a problem medically speaking. What happens is you're uncomfortable. Make sure you drink lots of water, your body probably runs hot like mine does. I heat up easy and I sweat like crazy when I get hot. I prefer cool/cold weather over hot. That's just how you're built. IF you're body isn't getting enough water those feelings of being sick or tired only get worse. In Arizona, I would drink a gallon of water a day just to keep up with the heat.

Do you take your temperature when you feel hot? If it is more than 1 degree above 98.6 your are sick. And the cold takes the heat away.
OR it could be hot flashes.

Sounds uncomfortable! If you are that warm I would definitely see your doctor! Your blood pressure may be too high! I would call them asap! You could (if you're a woman...sorry) be starting menopause. Again, check with your doctor.

Are you pregnant?

Maybe your body just has a low tolerance for heat. I would check with a dr to be sure.

just like how people who live in southern california hate the cold.

its normal for you.

and for its, its normal for us.

its just what you are used to.

someone who lives in the yukon and lives in the snow and ice is used to it. when they go to the dessert they will suffer so bad.
