I have a container of Pillsbury Biscuit's and thought maybe if I flatten them out and put shredded Cheddar cheese in the middle. Roll 'em up into balls, and bake them till' their golden brown. What do you think? Will they come out good? Any suggestions or ideas you'd like to add would be greatly appreciated.

My husband tried this with the pop out of the can crescent rolls. He filled each one with something different--one with shredded cheese, one with minced garlic and butter, etc. They turned out really well. Just make sure when you roll them up, you seal them REALLY well so the cheese doesn't leak out. Also, dipping/rolling them in melted butter before you bake them makes them even better!

Thats a fabulous idea!

I tried something similar recently. Rolled up leftover chicken (minced), minced onion, pepper and shredded mozarella in Pillsbury Crescents. Baked till golden brown. It was delicious. The only problem I faced is that the melted cheese tends to ooze out of the crescent corners. But with your "cheese rolls", I guess the melted cheese will be "contained" inside the biscuit.

You can try adding some other products to the cheese. Some herb or cracked pepper or veggies might be good. Or a mix of cheeses.

Have you checked out their website? They have some great ideas. Take a look at the "Cheese Stuffed Pull-Apart" recipe. Its similar to what you have in mind. So I think that your recipe is definitely good.

They sound good .... you could also add herbs, onion, black pepper or red, another kind of cheese .... ham ...

I suggest that if you make a ball of them after you stuff them, that you pat them flat again so they will bake more quickly; they will still puff up ... and be sure there is no place that the stuffing is falling out; just pinch the hole shut ...

Sounds interesting. I think sprinkling the cheese on top would be good too, pressing the cheese into the biscuits. Hope it turns out.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut cheese into eight blocks of about equal size. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch and place one block of cheese in the center. Carefully pull up edges of biscuit around and over cheese and pinch together. Caution: seal must be as good as you can make it!

I think you should put sauce in with them too, like a roled-up pizza
