I dreamed I fell to my own death a while ago...seen from a perspective outside myself...I didn't "see" it but supposedly in it I hit the ground... Nothing happened in real life.

Then it just means that you dreamed of death. Most likely has no actual bearing to reality.

Dreaming of death is seldom about actually dying, but signifies a great change in your life ie)new career, new religion, change in marital status...hardly something to fret over.
