Actually not much, peregrines are happy with just a depression in the substrate, basically a groove in dirt, sand or small gravel. Sometimes there will be some old twigs, bones around but generally not to much. On the other hand they sometimes use a nest made by another species, ex : hawks, ravens, eagles, cormorant, especially when there aren't any good cliffs around to use, since their preferred habitats are cliffs.

Peregrines don't build nests, they build what is known as a "Scrape" This is a shallow hollow dug into the soil or fine gravel found on the ledges of cliff faces. they never go out and intentionaly find stuff to line thier scrape with. sometimes they will dig a scape in amongst a tuft of grass or plantlife. some falcons will use nests from other birds, ie an old crows or buzzards nest.
Our captive falcons have a nest ledge filled with pea gravel and will sometimes dig a few scrapes before they decide which they like, some even dig out on the gravel floor.

sticks, fur, hair (including human), dirt, ect ect they are much more resourcefull then humans and are fairly adaptive hence whatever is around them they will use. By the way once I swear I had one swoop down and pluck a hair from my head and then did the same thing a second time thanksfully it only hurt a little but I almost had a heart attack I was at an amusement park when it happened and had the day before died my hair bright red I wonder if the coloud had something to do with it
