I think it helps. My scars never went away, but they're noticebly lighter. Maybe I should try using it again and see what happens. I know that old scars take awhile to start fading, while new scars can fade within a few months.

Mederma worked on my scars, but it took about 6 weeks to have a noticeable difference. There are some less expensive alternatives, like the Equate brand, out now that work just as well in about the same amount of time for a LOT less $$.
