ok. so i met this guy about three wekks ago. his name is matt. he is super cool. he is nice and cute. his smile is amazing too. recently, since i am freinds with his freinds, i told one of our friends that i liked him. she said that it was kewl. she also said that she would try to find out who he liked. latley, he has been acting like he likes this other girl named jennifer. i dont know if he does, but it seems that way. he aslo told my friends that that is who he liked when they asked him, but both of my friends think he was lying. He talks to me sometimes and when we do talk, he acts kinda nervous. BUT, one of his friends liked me and his friend told him. I dont want him to think of me as off limits, but i dont want him to hurt his friend either. He has been acting flirty though latley. Plus, his ex is always mad when we talk. What do you people think??

I think you should just ask him yourself. This is something that you want? So... if you want this guy, talk to him. Stop waisting time, be honest. If he does not like you back...well, that happens sometimes.. there will be times that someone may like you and you don't like them back..well OK..
You are afraid of rejection as all people are. but the sooner you face the fact that sometimes in life you get rejected and sometimes in life you are accepted, the sooner you can start depending on yourself to know what is best for you, not a group of strangers.... make your own decisions.!!!! You can do it!

I think that he likes you. If he has been flirty around you, he might be serious around you or he might just be playing around. Try to find more about him. Talk to him more. Just tell his friend that likes you how you feel about Matt and maybe he will be ok with it. If he's a true friend, he'll back off; especially if he knows that Matt likes you and you like him back. Also, tell Matt that you like him. I mean, I don't think it's really going to make a difference in your relationship as friends even if he doesn't like you. He might just be afraid of making the first move so maybe he wants you to. I don't think you have anything to lose when telling him that you like him. Just say that even if he doesn't like you in the same way, that you would still like to be good friends with him and that you wouldn't want your feelings to ruin your friendship. I think he'll understand you and that he'll still want to be your friend. Maybe after being friends for some time, he will start getting to know you more as a person, and he might start liking you too. ~good luck!~

He only senses that you like him and guys at his age are quite egotistical when they know a girl likes them. Plus, it makes him feel (subconsciously) superior to his friend who also likes you.
Be very weary about pursuing him. You should not have told your friend that you like him. He knows this and that is why he acts nervous around you.
Because you told your friend, everyone knows how you feel because people do not keep secrets and rumors spread like fire.
If I were you, I'd back off of him and go for someone else. That is the only way he is going to end up liking you.
You'd be smart if you actually went for his friend who likes you because at least he is man enough to admit that he likes you and is not playing games with you.
Why not give the guy who really likes you a chance? A girl has very low chances of success of having a good relationship with a guy who knows in advance that you like him. Why? Because the guy thinks he has control over you. I've seen this scenario many times and it has always led to bad relationships. I doubt you'll listen to me because you've made up your mind (I probably wouldn't either if I were you) but I predict that you would be much happier if you actually went for the guy who has admitted to liking you.

first of all only three weeks...come on a little early to be falling head over heels over someone...sounds like he knows you like him and is afraid to confront you either because he might think your cute or because he is afraid of hurting your feelings...if this relationship went anywhere it wouldnt last long. come on gurl you really want the stress of annoying ex like...or even watching a boyfriend that goes and flirts with other chicks....give me a break!!! A guy that cant even tell you how he feels...even when you two talk alone is too immature and not worth your time...but just for fun try to make him jealous see if that changes anything!

Wait for a while and see what happens... this isnt too much information to know for sure if he likes you but ask him who he likes yourself just dont say anything about you liking him, pretend as if you were gonna hook him up. He has no reason to lie to anyone about who he likes.
