girlfriend and nobodys happier than me, but im getting the feeling that the girl i thought i was in love with maybe disappointed as i dont like her any more.Its probably due to the fact that ive liked her for so long that she is at a loss for nobody now liking her that way anymore. Just tell her exactly what you're feeling. There's no need for you to feel sorry or feel that you're obligated to make your ex feel good. This happens to a lot of people. They think they're in love then they meet someone new and it gets them thinking if they really were in love. When they see that they weren't they automatically feel forced to stay w/ that person they are with. You kinda feel guilty but you shouldn't because you do have your own feelings to worry about. Just do what you need to do to be happy. Eventually they'll do the same! Life is hard but we just have to deal with it!

Sounds as if you are young and happy with your fickleness on first being down on love and now high on love. Don't tell her anything, you owe her no explanation. Be happy in your new romance.
