Wild vines balckberry merlot is wine mixed with sugar and blackberry flavoring.
If you like that sort of stuff go for Rinuite Lambrusco.

Saint-Emillions are nice French Merlots. You should be able to find a bottle for around $15. 2003 is a good year in my opinion. If you go to a wine store they should be able to help you if you tell them this is what you have in mind. But know that a true Merlot is not near as sweet at WildVines. Have a good weekend!

I like Yellow Tail. Of the Australian wines Yellow Tail is a good one. A good cheap Merlot that goes over real well at parties is Walnut Crest from Chile very inexpensive and every drinkable.

Blackstone and Bogle wineries both make a pretty decent merlot for about $8-9 a bottle.

Blackstone is a fair one, not overly dry and decent for the $, however if you want a great one, its hard to find buts from Oregon or Washington state and is from Northstar http://www.northstarmerlot.com/
