I've never heard of such a thang as being christen.
I looked up christen in the dictionary, and it is missing.
As for baptize, that has a few things in common.

If you are talking about a christening, they are the same thing.

do you mean being christened? or christian?
christening is a synonym for batptism, and what one becomes baptized they accpet Christ, thus becoming a christian.
