Pack half a suit case. Leave the rest for everything you are going to buy. Expandable suit cases are the best.

Call ahead and ask the hotel if they have shampoo, blow dryer, etc. You can save space if they already have it.

Dont bring a lot. you can wear the same clothes more than once, with out washing them. You wont die, more than half the world (including Europeans) dont wash they clothes after every-time they wear it.

Bring all prescription medications with you. Pack less clothing than you think you need. For men a pair of khaki chinos is appropriate almost anywhere; for women black slacks or skirt. Don't worry about what you may have forgotten because you can buy it when you get there.

Always throw a few new zipper seal bags in your luggage in case you buy something which could leak. Bring a medium size backpack. It's great for hands-free market shopping and day trips.
