I think I am more of a Pantheist. I think the concept of all gods and goddesses throughout the history of religion generate from deep within ourselves; we are seeing our own energy source and naming it God. So, as I believe that each of us is a god or goddess in our own right, I cannot say I am an atheist. However, since I absolutely do not believe in some bearded dude in the sky, nor do I believe that there exists any deity separate from ourselves, I am an atheist by most people's definition.

I'm not an atheist because I believe I have sufficient evidence in an afterlife, and personal evidence in the concept of deity. It may not be scientific and verifiable to others, but it is sufficient to convince me.
I'm an engineer by trade, and understand the need for measurement and evidence. I also understand practicality. For me, religion is practical and functional. It has worked for me and provided sufficient proof. I don't though, expect that proof to be sufficient for others, and believe that religion should be personal. Nor do I believe that another's lack of belief should lead to any "damnation" or "hell". We all have our own paths to follow.

Well I am Agnostic because I can't say for sure one way or the other that there is no God as I find it to be unknowable. However I am also a FreeThinker who believes that a person shouldn't base their morals on any sort of religious books. I am also a Humanist more to the Secular side as I am Agnostic but I am always challenging myself and my stance on things.

my believe in God is not based just on what I read or learned from others, it is based on what I feel when I communicate with the one that created all of us.when you get close to God you CAN feel his presence. 50/50 believe in God ,or not. if I'm right I win, if I'm wrong I win, by living a life of happiness, love ,peace ,joy, respect, forgiveness, understanding and wholeness. If an atheist is right they win, if he/she is wrong, ............they lose. seek the truth, he died for you

Because I know God is there for me when I need Him. He has done so many things for me in my life, and I am proud to be His daughter. Even though atheists claim there is no God, they have to believe that there is a higher power over them. For me that higher power is the Lord my God!!!!

Through faith. And by that, I don't simply mean belief, but by willingness to test my beliefs.
I believe love is the most important quality and calling of a person's life, and I believe God is love.
