I don't mind unless it's too excessive. If you're constantly sending texts or calling to check up, that makes me think you're insecure about us. Also, the point of going out with friends is to get away from wives or girlfriends to just have some male bonding. If you were out with your friends, would you want him interrupting the fun by calling or texting? Probably not.

A lot of guys may feel embarrassed around their friends to send out cute text msgs about their feelings (or continuously text the same person) which is understandable because they're being courteous to their friends which shows they care. Its his time with his friends not with the girl at the moment..same with phone calls. He isnt hanging out with his friends to talk on the phone, hes with them to have a good time with them.

When guys/men are with their friends, they don't want to be bothered. That is the whole point of going out with the guys...they want to get away from the woman for a while. There is nothing wrong with that...as long as they are not cheating. Women should do the same...hang with your girls and don't be worrying about what your man is doing. Have fun.

Quite understandable. I always switch off my mobile while in company as it is very bad manners when in one social group to take time away for alternative socializing.

maybe he just likes his manly time, just like sometimes girls just like their girly time. or maybe he does that because his friends get annoyed when that happens. i know my boyfriends friends would get annoyed if they were all hanging out and i called. not becuase they didn't like me, but becuase they just needed their time with their friends.
