I've had good luck with OxyClean, but if it's a delicate fabric you might want to take it to your local dry cleaner.

try wine away. all the wineries here in napa and sonoma sell it. good housekeeping magazine loves the product. They also make a secondary product for removing red things like jelly, juice, etc.
