The lake of fire is the hell you are asking about I think. The 2nd death is the fact you will never ESCAPE that place, just like you can't escape death the first time. With death going into the lake of fire, it no longer has a hold on anything, which means you will live forever. Where you live....is up to you.

A lake of fire sounds like burning to me? Not entirely sure if that answers the question, but I dont see exactly what you are asking FOR in an answer...you kind of answered it yourself from what I can tell.

While the punishment of the wicked is everlasting that does not mean the suffer torment for eternity. It simply means that when they are destroyed it will be forever and ever. Here are a couple of texts which describe what will happen to the wicked.

Wicked Becomes Ashes. You shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing. (Malachi 4: 1-3)

Satan Becomes Ashes. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you And I have turned you to ashes on the earth, in the eyes of all who see you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have become terrified and you will cease to be forever. (Ezekiel 28: 18)
