It does make the best grilled cheese sandwiches, though!
I honestly don't think they give out the long blocks of it like they used to. The closest thing to it in the store would be the Velveta Deluxe cheese in the blue package. It's like $4 for pack of 16 slices.

I believe school lunches contain government cheese... At least that's what I have been informed by my teenage son..

Here in my county in Michigan the Economic Opportunity Commission is responsible for that.
Your best bet would be to call your local Department of Social Services.
There is also WIC--Women, Infants and Children program that will hook you up with food if you have kids or are pregnant.

i dunno where you can get it at but it does taste soooo good. They use to give out these lil blocks of cheese when i went to school and there were delicious lol :)
