I got this as a gift. I don't want to make plain old sugar cookies though. The ingredients listed on the package are: "Wheat flour, Sugar, Salt, Baking Powder, Milk Powder, Natural & Artificial Flavors." (I wonder what the "natural and artificial flavors are, lol) -
Anything I add to make it a little more interesting? (around the house I have cocoa, eggs, pineapple, apple, dutch baked apples, spices... and not much else :)
Thanks!

Make snickerdoodles. Make the dough as specified, roll dough into balls, then roll balls into cinnamon-sugar and bake.

Or stir in chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits.

Or roll balls of dough in colored sugar, jimmies/sprinkles or cute little decorateive cookie sprinkles and bake.

Or add about ½ cup cocoa to make chocoalte cookies.

Bake the cookies according to directions. Then coat the cookies with cinnamon-sugar. To make cinnamon-sugar, mix about 1 cup sugar with 1/4 cup cinnamon. You might have extra cinnamon-sugar left over after putting it on the cookies but, save it, it's good on toast. They change from boreing sugar cookies to yummy snickerdoodles.
