how can you tell the difference.. and how do you know what is right?

when you use your head you second guess yourself. when you use your heart its no questioning yourself. when you use your head you keep asking yourself question but when you use your heart you feel it.

If you are new at using your head and not your heart (which I think is what you were trying to say), you might want to start by asking a parent or good friend to be honest with you and ask them the question you are asking yourself.
Your heart deals with your emotions which can get so strong that they overpower your good judgment (your mind..or your head). It is always good to have someone on the outside (of your situation) to be able to give you some good advise. This won't work though if you don't listen to them. It might be the hardest thing that you have to do, but remember, they are seeing things differently than your clouded vision is letting you. If your not sure, go to someone else until you are sure about the answer...and not just the answer you want to hear.

Unfortunate woman tend to be ruled by their emotions. And whether you make a decision with your heart or your head, you always have a chance of being wrong. It's all learning experience. On another note: Men are ruled by something a little bit lower. You know what I'm talkin 'bout sister!

In many situations, I always use my head--it is wiser to do so than to follow your heart. That way, you are protecting yourself from being hurt. How can you tell the difference? It is a skill that you just develop over time.

The way I see it is that your head reasons out things- what is good or bad for you. Your heart just tells you the feeling as you see it without analyzing anything.

Please use your head first. Normally the heart tells us to do whatever feels good at the moment. Our head (conscience) tells us different stories at times. Little flags that go up. Don't avoid them but use them to grow.
