You should NEVER be afraid of how you feel, and you NEVER can know what another person feels. A girl can tell a boy that she loves him and misses him, but... know that if you tell this boy these things, there are a few things you need to accept....
1. He may NOT love you, but he MAY miss you.
2. He may love you , but he MAY NOT miss you.
3. He may love you and may miss you.
4. He may not love you and may not miss you.
Are you prepared to handle any of the above? So what will you do? And what if it was he that was telling you? How would you respond?

The "L" word should be used after a fair amount of time goes by 4-6 Month's Min. Some people male/female do use this powerful word too soon and it does scare people, on the other hand if you are dating someone 6-9 Months and the "L" word has not been said by either party that maybe an indication the relationship is not working (IMO)

Never be afraid to tell others how you feel. If he does not like to be told that he is loved, then he is not for you. You need to be wise, and know when it is the right time and the moment to say it. But do not over doit. Women needs to heard that they are love many times a day, but men don't.

I think it all depends on the situation. A soldier away from home would probably love to hear it while a young guy at a party with his buddies is not going to want you to two way him and tell him that

Guys get a little squeamish about the "L" word. It's always best to let him do the talking first to make sure that he is ready for the love level of commitment. It is better to show him how you feel anyway because love is an action word.

It depends on how long you have been dating him. Less than a month, than you may want to wait. Guys need to feel love, but sometimes too early in the relationship it can cause that "she's clingy" response. Also many times, guys need to be intimate before they feel love.

Be truthful to yourself and to him. Don't say that if you don't actually mean it. It's very heartless to lead someone on, for guys and girls. but if you do mean it, knock yourself out! Guys are very confused creatures, and it takes a while for them to realize their feelings. oh! and just a little f.y.i, i herd that guys become a little more feminine when they're in love. I'm not really sure if that's true or not, but that's what animal planet said.

Sometimes. Men just like to be surprised and not showered with sweet words that make them feel wierd and fuzzy even though what's beign said is sweet. We would like to hear it from them but they act out instead. We are from different emotional planets.

Feel however you feel honey. But if you arent engaged or married, keep it quiet. Let him pursue you. I know its old fashioned but men are ,at their core, hunter gatherers and need to feel like they are the male. Best way to do that is to let him tell you he misses you first.
