I would stay away if you are worried about getting stared at in public and have mean things said about you. Interracial dating is HARD!! only those who are really set on the one they love and will not back down under any circumstances should try to do it. Your 18 and beautiful (or so you say)...you'll have many other guys with a brighter future come looking for you. Don't settle on this guy just because he is paying attention to you.

It has less to do with the fact that he is black. Of all the men in the world (black, white, Indian.. whatever) do you want to be dating a guy that "just got out of jail"? If you are worried now, just think what you will feel when you start dating this guy? You should not date this guy.. but not because you are white and he is black.. but because you are not sure if it is the right thing to do. If it was, you would not be so confused....there is something within yourself that is telling you to "run..run..run away!"

It's perfectly acceptable for a white girl to date a black man - what's not okay is to date someone who just got out of prison! Have you wondered why he was in there? For get about the racial difference, he is a convict and you need to get to know him - I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he may have been in jail for something not too serious - before you start dating him. Please, be careful and take a look at your priorities.

Its not his skin color that's the issue. The man just got out of jail... RUN .. I dont care what he was in for or whether or not he was innocent. Guys who go to jail keep going to jail. Pick someone else to get close to. Skin color isnt or shouldnt be a factor. If people stare, thats on them. Rude is rude. If you dont want mean things said about you, stay away from convicts...

These days, nothing is taboo. Love is from the heart, you shouldn't worry about what think. I would however worry about the person you are dating. I'm not you but the whole, "just got out of jail" thing doesn't seem like the best choice. Besides that, follow your heart because happiness comes from the inside.

Social diversity is a key in society because it is what makes each and every one of us special, unique and profound in nature. The color of someone's skin does not determine character. If you truly like the guy, go out with him. He is male, you are female, it's perfectly fine. As long as there is love, commitment and understanding, everything should be just dandy. However, why was he in jail? Take that into account because that also says something about who he is. Be careful, be aware and be open.

Depends on what he was in jail for. Were you with him prior to jail? How well do you know him? Jail can change a person. Maybe go out in a controlled fashion. With a friend or meet in a public place.

religion, race, things like that are just physical. relationships are emotional. dont let things like race keep you from 'getting with' someone you like. i know a lot of people with interracial relationships and they get along just fine. im not saying that some people wont give you guys some trouble, cuz believe me there are a lot of haters, but if u are both willing to work through thigns together than it doesnt matter what other people say. but, at the same time, if what people think of you bothers you so much just dont do it.
hope this helps

Either you don't go places or whatever but there are many white women dating black men. It is common. Forget what others will think because we need to wake up and stop judging people by their skin. If you like him go out with him.

Well you might get some negative attention by people who are ignorant. But if you like him it shouldn't matter what other people think. I would be concerned with your boyfriend getting out of jail tho. Be careful
