I have been having really bad adbomen pain in the lower right area (like by my appendix). I have gallbladder problems and i am having surgery to have it removed on March 29, i don't think it is related because this pain is a lot more sharp and lasts longer than gallbladder. I have been having it for about a day and half. I have a fever and I am feeling sick to my stomach. Any ideas of what this might be??
I am a 14 year old girl

i'm a surgical intern. so let me put this clinically.
your pain sounds like gallbladder, but if your pain moves to the left below your left breast bone, it's your pancreas.. indicating pancreatitis. if your pain is honestly located in the lower right area, it most likely is your appendix.. the thing is, if you have appendicitis.. you would most likely already be in the ER. the best thing to do is to just got to the ER of the hospital where you're having your surgery. suggest a CT scan of your abdomen.
please do something, quick.

best of luck~

With the symptoms you described this could be an appendix problem . You need to contact your medical doctor as soon as possible and tell him of your condition. Do not wait.

I'm so sorry you're going to have to have gallbladder surgery. I wish you the very best.

If you have a fever and feel sick to your stomache you need to go to the doctor. It could be that something is wrong with your gallbladder that you haven't felt yet. The fever is a sign of infection. At least call your doctor and let him know. Maybe you can't wait til the 29th.

PLEASE TELL SOMEONE TO TAKE YOU TO THE ER RIGHT NOW>>> DON'T WAIT.... Sharp pain could be a number of things... and NOONE online with only the symptoms you have given can Diagnosis you.. could be appendix.. (this could kill you if you wait) ...Could be gallbladder .. Could be female issue with ovaries...(cysts rupturing.. etc).. Could be PID needing antibiotic... Could just be gas pains or irritable Bowel syndrome.. WHO knows without an exam DONT WAIT >> GO TO ER TODAY ASAP!!!!

i had my gallbladder out when i was 13 and i am 19 now, you may have a stone stuck in a duct so if it gets bad call 911 cause it will only hurt you. dont worry it will be okay!

It could be due to a lot of reasons, young lady.

My suggestion is that you ask your parents to take you to the hospital, pronto.

Not much we can diagnose here, in the Forum, is there?

Cheers!
