I fix it the same everytime, the only thing I
switch up is beef sausage or italian sausage,
I use ground beef, carrots, onions, greenpeppers,
sugar, season salt, and mushrooms.

Please help I'm trying to switch up a little,

usually it's just chef boyardee, but when i do make it home made, i like to use sweet italian sausage as my meat, or, if it's cheap enough, a pound of ground bison. crushed tomatoes, green peppers, sweet onions, a clove or two of elephant garlic, cellary, basil, oregano, rosemary, a little coarse ground sea salt, cracked black pepper, and a tablespoon or so of real butter. ladle all that over fresh spaghetti noodles, top with grated parmesan, serve with warm garlic bread, and enjoy!!

I use saute one onion chopped with 1 TB of olive oil and 2 cloves of pressed fresh garlic. When the onion and garlic are softened I addd 2-3 TB of pampered chef italian seasoning. It has more than just oregano and basil in it. It's really good. I saute that for a minute longer. The I deglaze the pan with a splash of red wine. I add 1 large can of crushed tomatoes and half a can of tomato paste and 1 cup of beef broth.

I cook that for about 10 minutes then add in a pound of ground beef that has been browned(you can use any meat you like) After that has cooked in the sauce for about 10 minutes I add the juice of 2 lemons. Sounds weird I know but the sauce doesn't taste lemony but it's not the same without it. Also a TB of sugar and salt and pepper to taste.

I let that simmer while I cook the pasta.

It's really good. Sometimes I add some red pepper flake.

If you didn't want to add the meat you could add sauteed mushrooms, zuchinni, eggplant and any other vegtable you like.

How about switching to alfredo? I saute a package of baby bellas in butter with garlic, then dump in the sauce (must be Classico roasted garlic alfredo) and some pepper. Then after it's heated I dump in a little bit of half and half or cream and a big handful of shredded Parm/asiago/Romano. Whisk until melted and toss with the pasta. Tastes just like a restaurant.

I usually put ground beef, italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and oregeno. The pepperoni really gives that little extra touch. You can also add onions, greenpeppers, or anything else that you may like.

Whoa! I make heart healthy spaghetti, sauce:crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, onions, garlic and parsley. When sauce is finished -salt free and fat free I add turkey meatballs that are baked on a baking pan to avoid the fat.
I know what you are probably saying , but try it you may like it, I know your heart will.

i brown an onion, bell peppers, carrot (diced very small/ sneaking in veggies on my unsuspecting family), once softened, i add 1 can tomato soup, 1 can diced tomatoes garlic and olive oil, 1 small palm full of sugar, 1 Tbls Italian spice mix. 1/2 bag shredded cheese right before serving so it will melt.
i don't use meat, but you can if you want.

Besides marinara with lots of cheese I love to add spinach and tons of garlic or zuchinni with garlic. If you like fish some scallops tossed in butter with garlic, onion, lemon and peas is good.
