How do I write a reasearch paper?

Question

I cant exactly find information on how to write this type of reasearch paper. I'm doing a three way contrast and comaprison (plus other things) of three differnt types of renewable energy. Wind, Water and Solar.

How exactly do I organize this?
maybe like...
Intro: what I'm going to write about and an explination of the three differnt types of enegy?
Body paragraphs: Compare and contrast each one to eachother so id end up with a total of about 6 different body paragraphs.
Conclusion: I'm not exactly sure how to do a conclusion for a reasearch paper. I have written many papers in my life but just not this type.

I'm asking how to organize a Three Way Comparison paper. I know I can do a google search on how to write just a plane old reasearch paper but I cant anything on a three way comparison.

I would say your outline would be as follows:
Introduction--Here say that you plan to write about 3 different kinds of alternative power, and why such alternative power sources are important to society
Paragraphs or sections 3, 4 and 5 would each deal with one of these energy sources. Here you would describe the pros and cons of each.
Conclusion--Here you sum up what you have said in sections 3-5. Perhaps you could give your opinion as to which of these shows the most promise.
