You can train a dog to go to the bathroom in a desired area of your yard. In Switzerland, some parks have small sandbeds that are for that purpose and people take their dogs there and the dogs know where to go and where not to go because they are trained and those are the park rules.
When your dogs are inside and you go to let them out to potty, go with them and have them on leash and take them to the desired area. Praise them when they go there. Stay outside with them for awhile and when they look like they are sniffing to go, redirect them to that area. Again, praise them if they go there. If they go elsewhere, tell them "No" and redirect them to the area you want them to go. It may take awhile but it makes time spent in the yard more pleasant.
Also, the urine of the female dog is bad for the grass.

it extremely is what my neighbor did whilst my canines stored escaping and doing that. First he in a well mannered way asked me to repair the fence. i attempted yet did no longer do a competent job. the subject might have ended there. Then he warned me that he replaced into putting a humane seize in his backyard. whilst he caught my canines, he took it to the pound and advised me that he had achieved that. I had to pay plenty to get my canines out of the pound and likewise drop each and every thing and circulate as we communicate because of the fact the canines had a three-day existence shrink in there. It replaced into quite inconvenient. I discovered my lesson and have been given a consultant to repair the fence. wish this facilitates.

If you put a stick in the lawn, or a post the dog will prefer to go near it. Praise it when it does. Soon that is where it will always go.

a leash? a fence? or just spend time training your dogs to *go* in one specific area of the yard (take them to the spot on a leash, have them do their business, give them a treat, repeat, repeat, repeat each time they have to go to the bathroom, and eventually they will get it)

If your dog is leashed or fenced, it can only go in your yard. It also will never get hit by a car, and probably won't get in a dog fight either, or, if it is unaltered, contribute to the unwanted pet problem.

I don't think your neighbors will appreciate you spraying anything in their yard. I sure wouldn't want anyone spraying anything in my yard! Your only options are to use a leash or get a fence put in around your yard.

If you are talking about urine only, pet stores sell supplements that keep pee from killing the grass. If it's poop, you should go clean it up yourself. And I wonder why you don't keep your dogs inside a fenced yard!!
