When I was with my gf , I used to be a good advisor for her ...but, now she's my ex-gf and has someone else in her life, she used to write to me to ask me for advices on what she should do on certain things, but, well, we broke up on half good terms but, I sometimes wonder why didn't she discuss those things with her new bf , or doesn't she ask her new bf theses advices instead ...why would she still want advices from me ? can someone explain me why ?

Good advice is hard to find. Even if she has a new boyfriend, many people aren't that good in giving sound advice, maybe her new Bf is such a person. In her view, it is the best way to handle things. She knows you, she knows you have sound advice for her, why should she ask someone else? as long as you are willing to continue with giving advice to her, she has no reason to ask any other person :)

well i think she still likes u but in a different way like a brother or sumthing like that she wants to find good advice and she knows you have good advice so she's asking you because nowadays you cant find good advice near you .

obviously, she still values your friendship. there are some things she doesnot want her bf to know about i guess. she values your opinion and still wants to be friends. it may just be that she has known you for so long that she knows you wont judge her ike her bf might.
