I went ot the bar the other night, and no chicks hit on me or nothing. im 18 5'11, 165, short wavy brown hair. Even at school, I get the feeling that im not attractive. Can i change this or am I stuck with it for life?I worok out 5 times per week and have good hygene for the most part. I have acne, could this be holding me back?

dont worry about your looks, it shows that your are so much concerned about other people's looks then only you think that everybody thinks this way. This is not true, there are people who find one's innerself more attractive than the physical appearance.

First of all, what state are you in that allows you to go to a bar at age 18? Never mind that - let's deal with your problem - girls at your age are very into themselves. They want to be cute and really think that the more makeup they wear and the skimpier their clothes the cuter they are. Having said that, they then tend to think that the "cutest" guys will be attracted to them and they are so superficial that all they see is what's on outside. As for the acne, I know it's a drag right now - my daughter had a terrible acne problem and at that age it can be devastating! She went to see a dermatologist and he put her on a medication - it's very serious with some side effects -however, after about three months she was acne free. Fortunately in her case she didn't have a problem with boys but was self-conscious about it and I'm glad that she had it taken care of. So in answer to your question - and it's sad to say this - but yes, your acne could be pushing girls away. You do have a way to find out though - go see your doctor, find out what treatments are available and when the acne is gone see what happens. If you're still having problems with the girls get back to me and we'll figure something else out. How does that sound?
