JV...La Raza means THIS according to the dictionary on yahoo's SPANISH DICTIONARY!...

ra·za

f.

1. (de personas) race, ancestry
2. (de los animales) breed

As you see, it means very much the racist comment of calling themselves "The race."

These United States aren't that stupid.

Yes, I believe they are. La Raza is a separatist movement that looks to reclaim land it claims was stolen from Mexico many years ago. Gutierrez is in the mold of Hugo Chavez, a leftist ideologue who needs to be watched very closely.

First of all the term "racist" is so over used that its not even funny anymore. Are they race centered? Of course. Is that bad? All depends on where you stand. I wish everybody had an organization going to bat for them as powerful as La Raza. As it turns out few have the degree of solidarity it takes to pull this off. Whites will probably realize one day, and if we don't then we don't deserve to be preserved anyway.

many ppl dont quite understand the spanish language.. they know what words mean but to a certain extent.. look, La Raza doesnt mean The Race.. its much deeper than that.. with a meaning.. it stands for unity.. honor.. like all for one and one for all type of thing. its much more complicated then u guys will ever know. if you guys are going to comment on specific languages, make sure u know the language completely and not jus sum words.. and no theyre not racist.. some of the things they say i dont agree with and i support la raza..

Yes they are...

Here is the breakdown on what is going on....

Corporations support the government (ie...lobbyist)---

In return the government supports the corporations need for cheap labor (because the lobbyist have paid them off)---

Therefore...the government supports illegal immigration (so the lobbyist will be happy about the cheap labor and keep giving them $$).

La Raza is all about illegal immigration...therefore ...they get support from the government and corporations.

Does that break it down simply enough for all you proamnsty....er..."people". (and I use that word loosely!!!)

The mere fact that they call their group LA RAZA (THE RACE), is racist to begin with.
