Bills always late-credit history not good- how do you get this cleaned up were you become the money handler of the household? NOT him?

Have him give you his money, and then you pay his credit card bills.

This is what a credit repair agency would do. (But they would also have him cut up his credit cards first.)

Since you are going to be the money handler, keep all of your financial dealings ENTIRELY SEPARATE. No joint accounts, in other words.

That way, no matter how poor his credit record becomes, you will still have a clean record.

Dump him. Let him realize for himself that he needs to get his **** together. It's not your responsibility to straighten him out.

He has to be willing to be responsible for his own finances. Until then, there's not much you can do.

Deny him "your goodies" until he sets himself straight.

Let him know the financial struggle it is causing your relationship.
